Our goal at Blackwatch Projects is to provide a higher level of customer satisfaction through timely construction of the highest standard.
This requires that only a limited number of projects are undertaken each year and ensures the personal approach of having either director being responsible for the project, ensuring quality construction, a timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
The company is ideally structured through a low overhead base and flat management structure to economically deliver commercial projects in the range of $500,000 to $5million.

Based in Brisbane, Blackwatch Projects commenced trading in July 2000, operating primarily in South East Queensland, in regions such as Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Ipswich and Logan.
Blackwatch Projects has a flat management structure by design, ensuring we can rapidly respond to customer needs and changes in the business environment. Our experienced and dedicated staff are the source of our strength and success. Our projects teams are comprised of highly experienced Project Managers, Contract Administrators and Site Managers, supported by a professional administration team.
The company is managed by the founding Directors, Darren Lucey and Troy Daffy who take an active "hands on" approach to ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
Both Darren and Troy have been involved in commercial construction in Queensland for over 15 years and have worked with many of the larger construction organisations prior to forming the company.
Darren Lucey Director
Darren Lucey is a founding Director in Blackwatch Projects and has over 15 years experience in Project Management and Site control.
Darren is a qualified carpenter and builder and has excellent management and quality control skills.
After undertaking tertiary studies, Darren completed his carpentry apprenticeship with a leading Queensland Commercial Builder. During this period Darren was quickly promoted through the ranks from Apprentice to Foreman to Site/Project Manager, overseeing many commercial and industrial projects.
Darren is also a Qualified Safety Officer and is trained in Industrial Relations, Negotiations, Programming and Quality Management Systems.
Troy Daffy Managing Director
Troy Daffy is a founding Director in Blackwatch Projects and has over 10 years experience delivering commercial construction in Queensland. He is highly skilled in managing all aspects of Project Management, administration, cost control, client liaison, documentation control and Quality Systems.
Troy’s background has been via Administrative, Design and Project Management with some of the leading construction and property companies in Queensland.
