Vivid, Kangaroo Point

Vivid Apartments is a boutique residential development consisting of 19 high end residential apartments located in the superb inner–city enclave of Kangaroo Point.

The project is a design and construct joint venture arrangement with Oracle Estates.

The apartments surround a centralised core that extends to the top level where there is also a common roof top terrace to take advantage of the views at Kangaroo Point. The interior finishes are high quality and include solid surface countertops, diamond gloss joinery, stainless steel detailing, carpet and ceramic tile. The quality of the interior space is further enhanced by larger than average ceiling heights extending to 2700mm and the open plan kitchen, living, dining areas opening out to alfresco dining balconies. Exclusive for residents and their guests, and with postcard-like panoramas of the city, Vivid’s rooftop entertainment deck is perfect for a barbeque, a celebration or a quiet night.

The geology of the site contained high level rock which influenced the design to create under croft car parking. The design of footings and suspended services have also been carefully planned to minimise site excavation. From the ground up the structure has in-situ footings and columns and then traditionally reinforced slabs and load bearing masonry. The roof structure is light weight with metal roof sheeting. Acoustic engineers were appointed in early design and the building envelope has been carefully designed to ensure all internal spaces exceed all statutory requirements for acoustics to increase liveability and quality at Vivid.
